Safety & FAQ

Safety is our top priority at Stumpy’s. Our location is a controlled environment and all visitors must complete a short training session where coaches will teach you how to throw safely and monitor your progress. By following our rules and applying common sense you will have a safe and enjoyable experience throwing a hatchet at Stumpy’s.

What Is Considered Appropriate Attire?

It’s a sporting event, so be comfortable! We recommend wearing loose, cool clothes during the warmer months. We do not allow sandals or open-toe shoes for safety reasons.

Can I Bring/Throw My Own Axe?

You cannot bring your own hatchet or axe. (Sorry!) We supply all hatchets to comply with our insurance policy.

What If My Group Does Not Follow The Rules Put In Place By Stumpy’s Hatchet House?

Stumpy’s reserves all rights to end any guest’s experience if they don’t follow the rules.

How Old Do I Have To Be To Visit Stumpy’s Hatchet House?

All Stumpy’s visitors must be at least 21 years of age. We make an exception to this rule for Family Day on Sunday from 2-4pm. For corporate parties, please speak with your Stumpy’s Event Coordinator to make arrangements for your underage employees.
